In screw air compressors, shaft seals and BRS-type sleeves play a vital role in ensuring tightness and operational reliability.
Shaft seals are made of stainless steel with a PTFE sealing lip, specifically designed to handle compressed air, high pressure, and temperature. Available in CW (Clockwise) and CCW (Counter Clockwise) versions, they are used to prevent compressed air leakage in compressor modules.
BRS sleeves, installed on the shaft, provide an optimized sealing surface for the PTFE lip. They protect the shaft from wear and ensure reliable sealing over time. It is highly recommended to replace both the seal and the BRS sleeve simultaneously to maximize performance and extend service life.
