The Z-07 type wiper ring is used as a protection against the ingress of contaminants, mud, and moisture into the interior of the working elements of hydraulic cylinders. It is most commonly installed on pins or pivots in the eyes of cylinders, where it prevents dirt from entering the lubricated space.

Construction and operation:

The wiper is made of polyurethane (PU) with high abrasion resistance, mounted in a steel housing that provides rigidity and secure seating in the socket. The Z-07 design allows for the wiper to be embedded in the housing, which ensures stable mounting even under conditions of heavy dust and vibration. During operation, it effectively "wipes" contamination from the moving surface, protecting the bushings and internal lubricant from degradation.
