Back up ring AP 71,12x2,62

Support ring (anti-extrusion) AP 71.12x2.62 is used as a protective element for O-rings in hydraulic and pneumatic applications.
Its purpose is to prevent the O-ring from being extruded into the sealing gap under high pressure.

Design and function:

• AP ring has a simple rectangular cross-section, matched to O-ring dimensions.

• It is mounted in the groove together with the O-ring.

• During operation, it reinforces the O-ring and prevents it from being pressed into the sealing gap under pressure.

• Can be used singly or in pairs (on both sides of the O-ring).
