PTFE Seal Clamping Tool for Groove Installation

A specialized tool for inserting and clamping PTFE piston seals into mounting grooves. Designed for hydraulic cylinder maintenance where accurate and damage-free installation of expanded PTFE seals is critical.

Instructions for use:

1. Heat or soften the PTFE seal (e.g., with warm water or hot air).

2. Use the fabric strap included in the set to tie both ends of the seal and place it into the groove along the piston edge.

3. Wrap the seal with the fabric strap and tighten the clamp.

4. Keep the clamp secured for 3 to 5 minutes – this allows the seal to return to its original shape.
