WEICON Rust Converter 400 ml (Rust Neutralizer/Primer)

WEICON Rust Converter – 2-in-1 Rust Neutralizer and Primer

WEICON Rust Converter is a highly effective product that neutralizes rust on cast iron and steel surfaces while simultaneously creating a durable primer layer. Thanks to its special formula, the product reacts chemically with corrosion, transforming iron oxides into a stable, dark protective coating. By sealing out oxygen and moisture, it ensures long-lasting protection against further metal degradation.

The product is ideal for maintenance, repair work, and industrial applications. Once dry, it serves as an excellent primer for subsequent paint coatings.

Key advantages:

• 2-in-1 action: effectively neutralizes existing rust and acts as a high-quality protective primer.
• High thermal resistance: the coating retains its properties at temperatures up to +80°C (and up to +160°C for short periods, up to 15 minutes).
• Excellent resistance to external factors: protects metal against weather conditions, moisture, and UV radiation.
• Paint compatibility: once the surface has fully cured (approx. 2 hours), most paints and topcoats can be applied over the product.
• Crack resistance: the flexible layer does not flake or crack under stress.

Applications:

• Maintenance of agricultural and construction machinery and industrial equipment
• Automotive bodywork and paint repairs
• Protection of steel structures, fences, railings, and gates
• Renovation of pipelines, tanks, and outdoor infrastructure components
