Rod-Piston seal K21 40x50x10

The K21 40x50x10 is a symmetrical U-cup seal used in hydraulic systems.
It can function both as a rod seal and a piston seal. It is also commonly referred to as a U-ring or U-cup.

Design and working principle:

• The seal has a U-shaped profile, with flexible lips that adapt to the rod or cylinder surface.

• Under hydraulic pressure, the sealing lips are pressed tighter against the mating surface, ensuring efficient sealing.

• The symmetrical design allows it to be installed in both rod and piston applications.

Material:

• Typically manufactured from polyurethane PU 9201, which offers high wear resistance, tear strength, and compatibility with hydraulic oils.

• Also available in NBR elastomer, providing better flexibility in lower temperatures.

• PU 9201 ensures elasticity, dimensional stability, and long service life in hydraulic applications.
