Description

The K10-50×58×6/8 wiper ring is a single-acting protective element for hydraulic cylinders, manufactured from NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber) compound NB9001 with high hardness. The main function of this profile is to prevent external contamination, dust, dirt particles, and moisture from entering the hydraulic system via the reciprocating piston rod, thereby protecting the primary rod seals and hydraulic fluid.

The K10 design incorporates a primary scraping lip alongside a secondary internal sealing lip (double wiper design). This dual-lip configuration ensures effective scraping of external contaminants while maintaining the required residual lubrication film on the rod surface to minimize friction and wear. The outer base geometry provides a secure, interference fit inside closed housing grooves, preventing twisting or axial displacement during operation.

Technical specifications and dimensions:

  • Inside rod diameter (d): 50.0 mm
  • Outside groove diameter (D): 58.0 mm
  • Wiper height (h): 6.0 mm
  • Total height / groove width (H): 8.0 mm
  • Dimensions in inches (d × D × h/H): 1.969" × 2.283" × 0.236" / 0.315"
  • Profile type: K10 (Double Wiper)
  • Material: NBR (Material code: NB9001)
  • Brand: Kastas
  • Application: rod protection in hydraulic cylinders and mobile machinery
  • Fluid compatibility: mineral-based hydraulic oils (DIN 51524), HFA, HFB, HFC fluids
