The Z-07 type scraper ring is used as a protection against the ingress of contaminants, mud, and moisture into the working parts of hydraulic cylinders. It is most commonly mounted on pins or trunnions in cylinder eyes, where it prevents dirt from entering the lubricated space.

The scraper is made of polyurethane (PU) with abrasion resistance, set in a steel casing that provides rigidity and secure seating in the socket. The Z-07 design allows for the scraper to be driven into the assembly, ensuring stable mounting even under conditions of heavy dust and vibration.

During operation, it effectively "scrapes" dirt from the moving surface, protecting the bushings and internal lubrication from degradation.
