Pressure oil seal 200x230x13/14,5 BABSL NBR

BABSL-type seal made of NBR rubber — designed for sealing rotating shafts in hydraulic and mechanical systems. Model code 108001N by SOG.

• Inner diameter (d): 200 mm

• Outer diameter (D): 230 mm

• Height: 13 / 14.5 mm

• Material: NBR (nitrile rubber)

• Seal type: BABSL – rotary shaft seal with a short sealing lip, spring tension ring and additional dust lip

• Applications: hydraulic pumps, motors, gearboxes, industrial machines with rotating shafts

• Temperature range: –40 °C to +80 °C

• Maximum operating pressure: up to 10 bar (indicative value – depends on shaft speed, temperature, medium type and seal support)

Technical note:
The allowable operating pressure for BABSL-type seals varies depending on several factors.
At low shaft speeds and moderate temperature, it can reach up to 8–10 bar.
As speed or temperature increases, the limit drops (typically 2–5 bar).
For higher-pressure applications, a support ring or special high-pressure seal version is recommended.
