Description

Piston seal KDSB 50x34x20.5 (code: KDSB 0500 0340 205 CX) is a compact-type piston seal used in hydraulic cylinders .

Construction:

  • central sealing element made of NBR rubber (70 ShA),

  • side elements in thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) acting as anti-extrusion rings,

  • outer guiding rings in POM (polyacetal resin) ensuring piston alignment in the cylinder.

Material – compound CX.

Operating data:

  • Working pressure: up to 400 bar

  • Speed: < 0.5 m/s

  • Temperature range: –30°C to +100°C

  • Fluids: mineral-based hydraulic oils

Appearance and working principle:

  • The KDSB has a multi-component compact design.

  • The NBR central element provides sealing, the TPE elements prevent extrusion, while the POM rings ensure guiding and stability of the piston.

  • Can be mounted in a closed groove (mono-block piston) or in an open groove (two-piece piston).
