Polyacetal (POM) Semi-finished Products for CNC Machining.

POM, also known as polyacetal, is one of the most important engineering thermoplastics used in modern sealing technology. The tubes and rods we offer made from this material provide an excellent base for precision boring of parts on CNC machines.

Applications in Seal Production
This material is commonly used in the production of auxiliary components in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, such as:

• Guide and back-up rings – thanks to their high stiffness, they prevent deformation of main seals under pressure.
• Spacers and bushings – requiring high dimensional stability.
• Valve seats and structural parts – operating over a wide temperature range.

• High stiffness and hardness: The material perfectly transfers mechanical loads without excessive deformation.
• Excellent machinability: The structure of polyacetal allows for perfectly smooth surfaces and very tight dimensional tolerances during turning and milling.
• Low moisture absorption: Unlike polyamides (PA), POM maintains dimensional stability even in humid environments or in contact with water.
• Chemical resistance: Highly resistant to mineral oils, greases, fuels, and many organic solvents.
• Low coefficient of friction: Ideal for moving parts, minimizing wear on interacting metal parts.

Delivery method
