The K35 rod seal with dimensions 63x73.7x4.2 mm is a single-acting rod sealing element designed for hydraulic applications. The profile construction consists of two co-operating components: a dynamic glide ring and an energizing element. The dynamic seal ring is manufactured from a bronze-filled PTFE (politetrafluoroethylene) composite, which provides a very low coefficient of friction, eliminates stick-slip effects during start-up, and ensures high thermal and chemical resistance. The energizing component is a standard rubber O-ring fitted within the seal groove, which exerts constant activation pressure onto the sealing lip, maintaining tightness under zero-pressure and low-pressure conditions.

The geometry of the K35 profile features a reduced axial height, allowing for a smaller installation groove design within the cylinder gland cap. The bronze-filled PTFE compound limits mechanical wear and permits operation at high sliding speeds in mineral oils and non-flammable hydraulic fluids.
