Wiper seal WED 40x48.6x5.3/7.2 C0 (code: 2EWED235) is a bi-directional scraper used in hydraulic cylinders.
The WED profile combines both a scraper lip and a sealing lip in one compact design.

Material and operating data:

• Polyurethane C0 (94 ShA) – high abrasion resistance, low compression set, good elasticity.

• Temperature range: –35°C to +100°C (peaks up to +110°C).

• Speed: up to 0.8 m/s.

• Fluids: hydraulic oils, water (up to 60°C), atmospheric exposure.

Appearance and working principle:

• The scraping lip removes dirt and contaminants from the rod during inward stroke.

• The sealing lip retains the oil film inside the cylinder, preventing external leakage.

• Flexible profile compensates for rod misalignments, while the longer sealing lip improves sealing efficiency.
