The sealing ring is made of C0 polyurethane, which is based on polyester-caprolactam. The use of this material guarantees excellent sealing properties, as well as resistance to wear and low permanent deformation. The RSD sealing ring is double-lipped, which means that both lips are pressed against the cooperating surface due to the elasticity of the material. An additional lip stabilizes the seal and protects against external contamination. The design of the ring prevents the stick-slip effect and supports the operation of the seal at low temperatures.
