The Z-07 type scraper ring is used as a protection against the ingress of dirt, mud, and moisture into the interior of the working components of hydraulic cylinders. It is most commonly mounted on pins or gudgeons in the eye of cylinders, where it prevents dirt from entering the lubrication space.

The scraper is made of polyurethane (PU) with high abrasion resistance, set in a steel casing that provides rigidity and secure fit within the housing. The Z-07 design allows the scraper to be inserted into the housing, ensuring stable mounting even in conditions of heavy dust and vibration. During operation, it effectively "scrapes" dirt from the moving surface, protecting the bushings and internal lubricant from degradation.
